Is there a Murphy’s Law about felting? That woolen things that you don’t want to felt will, and ones you want to felt won’t? I tried cooking my big mittens this evening, wringing and mushing them, and dumping them in ice water, but they don’t seem to have felted. I’ll settle for having knit mittens big enough to go over gloves, though, so I’m not awfully upset.
